This man is a wizard!!! I had ear keloids that grew back after surgery -- twice! 10 years on and off and I finally am cured. Truly a magician. Changed my life forever. We are at the one year mark from the surgery and everything looks amazing. I can't walk anywhere without someone asking me if I'm Denzel Washington.
Dr Neal Handel does amazing work. Everyone that sees the work he has done on me asks for my doctors information so they can use him. His work comes out looking natural and beautiful. I highly recommend him for any work that’s needed.
I got introduced to Dr Handel after my lawyer was helping me with a severe medical malpractice case. Dr Handel has given me my confidence and face back after his procedures. He’s so kind and caring and has always made me feel confident he’d be able to get me to my goal. Thanks so much to him & his team
Came to dr after having work that needed to be fixed from a previous dr . I’m a week and half out of lipo and fat grafting to the butt ! This guy is a genius . I know results are early but I’ve never been so happy !!!!!!!! Thank you dr and I will update in 4 weeks with before and after pictures .
I am loving the results of my lipo/fat grafting dr Handel performed on me a month ago. I had liposuction of my abdomen, muffin top, saddle bags, inner thighs, and banana roll. The fat removed was injected into my hip dips and breasts. I had a Breast augmentation about 2 years ago by a reputable surgeon and I was not happy with the results. The right breast did not round out at the bottom and wasn’t placed properly in my chest. The left breast dropped more than the right and it just didn’t look even. He injected some fat into the top of the left breast and bottom of right breast. It looks so good! I can finally go out and not wear a bra. The staff is very nice and helpful and Dr. Handel is very skilled and also has a really funny sense of humor.
Dr. Handel s an extremely proficient and skilled surgeon with years of experience and a strong aesthetic artistry which is important for facial surgery . I am 59 years old and started noticing unpleasant sagging / aging in the lower face so I went to Dr. Handel. He recently did my facelift resulting in a fantastic job! The process was smooth and it was much easier than I thought it would be. I felt good the next day aside from some slight occasional itching. I rested and followed the advice I was given by the office. My neck looks perfect now! I feel like it took years off my look.
Went in for a simple neck lipo and couldn't have left more satisfied. The surgery was fast and painless, he applied local anesthesia but I was awake the whole time. My recovery was quick and I was able to go back to work after just 3 days. I was able to see my results almost immediately. I highly recommend him.
My experience with Dr Handel was better than I could have ever expected and I am so pleased with my results. I am a 21 year old patient with a relatively small frame, so going from an A cup to about a full B cup was ideal for me. I got 300cc hp implant under the muscle by way of the transaxiallary method, which means the placement of my incisions were in my armpits…. After doing extensive research on surgeons in the LA and OC areas, choosing Dr Handel to be my surgeon was a no brainer due to his expertise, years of research, and hands on experience in his practice. Dr Handel and his staff, specifically Nina, made me feel so comfortable from my consultation throughout every post op apt. I have not had a single regret about any decision I’ve made in regards to my surgery and I feel great about myself and my results. 100/10 RECOMMEND.
This review will include details on both of my breast surgeries, sizing/body type, how I felt after surgery, and how fast my recovery was. Quick Body Details: 25 years old, 5'3, 125 lbs. my original breast size was a very saggy C cup. My first surgery (breast lift/implants) were 400cc saline which put me at a 36DD, and my second surgery (breast implant/lift REVISION) are now 305cc silicone, which now has me at 34D.Hi everyone, I would like to share my full story/experience having multiple breast surgeries. Breast implant/lift experience (1st surgery) & my revision experience (2nd surgery) done by two different doctors. Today I am 2 months post op from my revision breast surgery done by Dr. Handel in Beverly Hills and before I begin I just have to say that I am so pleased with my revision results done by Dr. Handel!I had my original breast implants (saline) with a lift done by a different doctor back in September 2019, and I absolutely hated my results. My breasts were botched. My implants began to "bottom out" therefore giving the illusion that my nipples sat WAY too high on my breasts. My nipples/areolas would pop out of almost every top & bikini, so I was constantly having to make sure they were tucked away. The scarring was terrible, and I had ripples/indentation on both breasts. That procedure left me extremely insecure about my breasts and made me very depressed, and on top of that, the doctor who performed my surgery did not want to take accountability for his mistakes and was not interested in fixing them for me. He mocked me and said it's just "my breasts" and that they weren't very nice to begin with and that he can't guarantee they will look much better if he did a revision LOL so of course I did not go back to him for my revision.I researched other plastic surgeons for over a year and had countless consultations. Every doctor agreed that my breasts were indeed botched. I consulted with excellent surgeons and loved most of their work, but the reason I chose Dr. Handel to do my revision is because he specializes in revision surgery, and I wanted to make sure I was going to someone who specialized in my specific needs.I am so grateful and blessed to have found Dr. Handel because he did way better than I could have ever imagined on my revision. For a while I thought I was doomed and that my breasts would be botched forever, but Dr. Handel proved me wrong. My experience with him and the staff has just been so pleasant. His assistant Nina is an absolute doll and she made me feel like family from day one. From the first consultation and every interaction since has been so reassuring and comforting.Dr. Handel is the best at what he does and I will forever recommend him to everyone!! His prices are high, but fair and well worth it. You really do get what you pay for. I decided to go down 100cc's when Dr. Handel performed my revision. I went from 36DD (400cc saline) to a 34D (305cc silicone) and my new size suits my frame so much better! How I felt after surgery (recovery):The anesthesiologist who works with Dr. Handel did amazing. The second I woke up from surgery I was already covered in heated blankets and was monitored by a nurse while I warmed up & regained consciousness for about an hour. I was uncomfortable and in a little bit of pain during that time, but after the first hour, I was put in a wheel chair and was taken to my mom's car. The entire ride home I felt great. I was talking to my mom, laughing, acting completely normal as if I didn't just have an entire 3 hour breast revision surgery LOL.I kept up with my pain medicine, therefore I didn't experience TOO much pain, and was totally capable of walking and doing most things on my own starting from day one. I was only given about 5 days worth of pain medicine which wasn't enough for me. I think at least a week and a half or two weeks worth of pain medicine would have been better in my opinion, but when I ran out after day 5 I just started taking Ibuprofen and kinda just sucked up the mild pain I was in (really wasn't too bad).I was back to work by day 5. I do eyelash extensions, which is not physical at all, therefore I was able to work without putting strain on my chest. Otherwise, if your work is physical then you would need much more time off to ensure proper healing and to not pull or stretch your incisions/scars.I took this procedure very serious and did everything right to ensure proper healing/scarring. I slept on my back, slightly propped up with lots of pillows around me, and avoided heavy lifting and never reached up high for things to avoid pulling at the incisions for the first 4 weeks. I barely started going to the gym again after 7 weeks, and I pretty much feel completely back to normal and feel comfortable enough to use my chest muscles now after 2 months.I've included 3 sets of photos. My original breasts, my 1st breast surgery performed by a different doctor, and then of course my revision surgery done by Dr. Handel. I tried to give as many details as I could think of, but feel free to message me with any questions. Overall, my experience with Dr. Handel has been a delightful 10/10 experience. I wish I could have gone to him the first time!!! But I am so lucky to have gone to him the second time.My best advice for anyone looking into getting plastic surgery, whether it's your first time or a revision, DO YOUR RESEARCH FOR YOUR SPECIFIC NEEDS. Just because a surgeon is good at implants, does not mean they are good at lifts. I learned that the hard way. It takes skill, and someone who specializes in detailed work such as lifts, reductions, areola resizing, etc. Personally, I don't mind paying more money for better quality. Especially when it's your body! Xoxo, S.
I went to Dr. Handel after less than spectacular results with a notable surgeon in Beverly Hills. Not only did Dr. Handel fix my issues, he did additional work and made my body look dream worthy. He is kind, beyond experienced and knowledgeable. Nothing beats his background, experience and results which is why I'm sure he is also a clinical professor.
I know you are insecure about your body – but you have an attractive womanly figure. However, your aesthetic goals could be achieved by taking fat from the areas you don't want it – like the waist, flanks and abdomen – and transferring if into the gluteal area to enhance the buttocks.
Since your eyebrows appear to be in the correct position, I do not think you would benefit from a brow lift. In your case I believe an upper lid blepharoplasty would do the trick.
You should not do anything yet – give the tissues a chance to heal more and fully recover. Corrective surgery could be performed in the future, or perhaps just injection of some type of filler, such as Juvederm.
In all likelihood the bubbles you are feeling are little air pockets that get into the subcutaneous tissues when the incisions are open. This is nothing to worry about. Your body will reabsorb the air. As far as unevenness – it is too early to determine if anything needs to be done – you need to wait several months at least for swelling to subside and tissues to settle.
It is not too unusual for lumps to occur several months after a tummy tuck. It may be an area of fat necrosis (fat cells that die and liquefy) or it could be a small stitch abscess (superficial infection around a suture). I suggest applying moist warm compresses 3-4 times a day. You should return to your surgeon for evaluation as well…
