Answer: Pain level after BA Dear jessica, alba, postoperative pain doesn't depend only on a breast implant size. There is a lot of factors which can affect the pain level (type of surgery, surgery technique, pain medicines, etc.). With a good operative technique and postoperative management pain level can be well controlled. Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Answer: Not true Going larger may increase the chance of having more discomfort and longer healing but this is not always true. What you have to worry about with larger implant size is the risk of having more surgery in the future. Andre Aboolian, MD, Plastic Surgereon, Beverly Hills
