Hello. Tomorrow I will be three weeks post BA transaxillary approach with 325 cc mod plus under the muscle silicone implants. Wondering if my breasts are two close together? My left one is also sitting higher than the right and is more full at the top and tighter. Does it just need more time to even up with the right?
Answer: Breast appearance after surgery Several things to consider:1) too early in your recovery process to assess2) remember, the surgeon places the implants wherever your breast footprint anatomy is located. Everyone's anatomy is different from one side to the other. Asymmetry is normal. 3) in the meantime, they look great!Have patience. The surgeon did a terrific job.

Answer: Too close Your nipples seem to be centrally located over the implants, so I think the implants needed to be placed this close together to accomodate the width of implants chosen for your procedure. I in fact think the result looks very good, as often patients complain that they haven't got as good a cleavage as they had hoped for.

Answer: Are my breasts too close together? (Photo) Thank you for your question and photograph, and it appears that you will have a very nice result. After placement of implants, the overall appearance of the breasts will change dramatically over the next several months, as the implants drop, and the overlying tissue stretches to accommodate the extra volume. At three weeks your implants appear to be settling, with your right having started to drop a bit sooner than your left. This is very common. I would anticipate your right breast implant to follow suit within the next two weeks. I know waiting is difficult, but judge your results at 4-6 months after surgery as most of your breast changes should have occurred by then. Hope this helps.

Answer: 3 weeks post-op breast augmentation Thank you for your question and for attaching photos. You are still in the recovery process and it is very normal for your implants to be sitting high at this point. Your implants are a little close together, but you need to wait until you are about 3 months out for your final results. If your surgeon took measurements pre-op and determined the implant used fit the width of your breasts, you should end up with a very nice result. Everyone is naturally built a little different and some people have breasts that are more close together and others are far apart. The final results really depend on your breast and body shape before surgery. It takes some time, in about 3-6 weeks things are going to be much better. Best of luck.

Answer: Patience pays dividends Congratulations on your surgery. Looking at your photos, it looks like you got a great result. Remember, you are only 3 weeks from having surgery and you are a little swollen. The swelling should subside in the next 3 weeks. The separation between your breasts is very good. I don't see an issue there. The fullness at the top of each breast also looks very similar. One breast can always settle a little quicker than the other breast, but you should see them even out in 3-4 weeks. Remember, there are always some subtle differences between the breasts after surgery because most patients had similar differences before surgery. Breast Augmentation doesn't correct all the differences. Having said that, your results are excellent, especially for three weeks after surgery. Try to hang in there for three weeks. You results a very good now and should be better in a few weeks. Good luck!
