Can I get monolids as someone who's Asian?

I always wondered if it was possible to get some because half of my family has it and I feel out of place that I don't look turkic enough as them. I also feel pretty ugly with my current eyes. I look like that I saw a ghost. monolid eyes look more relaxed and prettier. And what age do you recommend to get monolid eyes??
