Thank you for your question, doctormieow. I suggest you consider the laser-assisted weekend necklift because of the phenomenal natural-looking results, short recovery time, and minimal invasiveness. Please consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon to learn more about your options. It would be helpful to see more pictures of your neck.Best wishes,
Hello and thank you for your question and photos!Bases on your photos and the history you have provided, you would do well with liposuction of the chin and neck. You may consider a small chin implant. We have several noninvasive alternatives including Kybella and CoolSculpting Mini. I would recommend a consultation with a plastic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in your area.Wishing you the best of luck!Andrew Lyos, MD, FACS
In my practice we get a great result with a combination of Vaser hi definition and thermiRF. i suggest you see a cosmetic dermatologist with expertise. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hi Doctormieow, from the pictures that you have provided, it appears that you would benefit from a small amount of lipocontouring under the chin. An in person consultation would be very helpful in guiding you towards the most beneficial procedure.
From the two pictures you posted, you have lots of options. You have a small chin, and a chin implant or genioplasty would help tighten your neck without any "real" neck procedures being done. If you went this way, a little neck liposuction would help give your neck the finishing touches it needs. If you wanted to stay non-surgical, Kybella is a great option to start with.Get a consultation from a surgeon who can talk to you about both surgical and non-surgical options to come up with the solution that is best for you.
doctormieow, I would recommend a deep plane minituck possible with a chin implant. See a specialist. Do not do closed liposuction only. Research the Internet for good photos. Good luck!
A full set of photographs in a chin neutral position are required before making a determination about what may be required. From the one very limited photograph, it appears that there is a very weak chin profile, and a small amount of fatty deposits in the neck. A chin implant can be inserted to give further projection to the chin, while liposuction of the fatty deposits in the neck can be accomplished at the same time. Both procedures can be performed under local anesthesia as an outpatient surgical procedure. For many examples, please see link and the video below
The posted photos are not really helpful. Three options or combinations of them: #1 Non surgical - KyBella injections, Thermi 250 RF sessions. #2 Minimally Surgical - ThermiTight RF, SmartLipo, Lipo, Silhouette Insta Lift neck. #3 SURGICAL - neck lift with submittal incisions also. Best to seek in person opinions.......
A true profile photo would help, as mentioned by another physician. That being said, minimally invasive procedures – like machines or injections – will give you a minimal results. Surgical procedures, like a neck lift, will give you a much better, more pleasing, longer-lasting result. It comes down to cost and downtime – if you can do it, go for the better result. If not, go for the nonsurgical – just keep in mind it will not be the same quality results.
Thank you for the photos and from them without an examination you appear to have a mildly recessive chin and some mild submental fat. A chin augmentation and liposuction should correct the problem and give you the desired result.Dr. Corbin
This is actually pretty common in a thin woman your age. It may be hereditary also. Botox can help but only lasts about 3 months in this area. A procedure called a submental platysmaplasty can improve it and is very long lasting. The surgery can take less than an hour. I have attached a link,
Thebowkid, you may benefit from chin surgery and a medial platysmaplasty but from the view chosen I cannot really tell. See an experienced facial plastic specialist; doesn't look to hard to improve! Good luck!
Thank you for your question and pics. I'm sorry to hear about your complication; with time your body will heal. It appears that you have some exudate and minimal tissue necrosis within the wound. In my practice, if I were to see this, I would debride it at the bedside until I see healthy vi...
