From start to finish the level of care, skill, patient education and interaction I received was profoundly above other medical professionals I have been treated by or know in a work capacity. The well-roundeness of this practice is obvious. They think of every detail to promote a positive patient outcome. They are accessible, enthusiastic and accommodating. There are many well-trained plastic surgeons, however, Dr. Nayak commands a pleasant disposition and intrinsic gift beyond technique. He is a master in his craft. Well worth the trip to St. Louis!
The entire staff is exceptional! They all work so hard to ensure the entire experience is top notch. Each staff member cares so much about the experience and the success of the procedure. Dr. Nayak has such an exceptional staff! Additionally, Dr. Nayak has such an artistic vision when it comes to enhancing the natural beauty of each of his clients. He explained what he was going to perform, but I didn’t comprehend his same vision. I envisioned the basics, but he created a masterpiece. I requested a lower blepharoplasty; he suggested and delivered a lower blepharoplasty, fat transfer, and laser treatment. I am beyond pleased with my results! Aside from his craft, Dr. Nayak is also a kind human. Sometimes educated and successful people can come across as arrogant. However, he is the complete opposite. I know Dr. Nayak will find success for the rest of his career- the foundation of his practice is solid and thriving!
I’m not a needle person. I just turned 40 and decided to try a light round of Botox. My nurse Julie, was gentle and kind. The results don’t kick in for another 2 weeks but I’m excited to see the continual changes. Elegant setting with friendly staff.
I’ve been going to Dr. Nayaks office for a few years . You never have to wonder what type of experience you will receive at Dr. Nayaks office, no matter who you encounter, it’s always a great experience ! From the time you walk in the front door and the time you leave .. whatever procedure big or small , you will always feel at ease ..with the knowledge, skill and experience everyone brings .
Racquel is seriously SO sweet and down to earth about her profession. She is extremely knowledgeable and took time to make sure I was comfortable. The staff was all really friendly as well. Highly recommend!
I have had horrendous eye bags for years, never even thought I could get rid of them. I reached out for a consultation thinking about a filler, Dr Nayak recommended the surgery. I was nervous but meeting him in person erased all fears. I was nervous about having my eyelids cut but he works behind they eyelid leaving no outside sutures/potential scarring. He was very personable, professional and kind with stellar credentials running over. His staff is top notch. I arrived for surgery a little nervous but the multiple checks from participating surgical staff to see if I was the right person, right surgery, etc and seeing Dr Nayak for even just a few mins prior just took all my butterflies away. I knew I was in great hands and my results are so amazing. I feel like he expertly “photoshopped” my face with care. I’m so grateful to everyone who played a part in my first surgical procedure. He really has a great team and all of these things really played a part in my decision to be treated here. I absolutely 1000% recommend Dr Nayak for this procedure. Worth it! **insert standing ovation here**
So real quick - hated my double chin for as long as I can remember. At one point, I considered hiring a hitman to take it out, but ultimately decided on outright nuclear war to be sure. I suppose the hitman option was my first attempt via neck liposuction by a well known Dr. in Austin, TX. Neck lipo did make my double chin look smaller, but that fat b*****d was still there smirking at me daily from day 1 of recovery until two years later when I decided nuclear war was the only option left. I had seen Dr. Nayak’s work and paid attention to his instagram account where I was able to view many different procedures including the one I wanted - which was the deep neck lift. I did this for about 6 months before I consulted. During that time it became apparent to me that he not only had the surgical ability, but the natural talent of achieving aesthetics. At first glance, the latter might not seem important, but believe me, it is what separates a good surgeon from a great surgeon. These realizations came even before I consulted or actually had the surgical procedure. I am currently 7 days post-op and the result is already obvious despite a good amount of swelling under my jaw line. That dastardly dude has been destroyed! If you have had procedures before, you know the hardest part is trusting in the process because the final results take time. Like 3 months to a years worth, depending on the procedure. If you haven’t had a procedure - slow down and trust in the process. Don’t make any decisions on whether or not you like it until you totally heal! I will try and find some pics of before lipo, but like most of us who have this problem - you tend to somehow delete or lose the pictures where that little b*****d has stolen the spotlight from you. I plan to chart my journey also so that anyone else who has this completed can use it for piece of mind. Trust me, it is a journey that is somewhat of a roller coaster. Before concluding this, I wanted to shine a spotlight on Dr. Nayak and his team. I am sure you have heard someone say “I cannot put into words...I can not express...” and all that many times before. I will do my best, so here goes. The operation went well and of course I did not get to observe the true working talent because I was asleep. I would say most people’s reviews are probably from this scope. Went to sleep, woke up, s**t looks great the Dr. Rocks! My experience was different. As stated the surgery went well, but about 4 hours post op I developed a hematoma which was ultimately caused by my hypertension. I called Dr. Nayak and shot a couple pics of my concerns and he immediately called me back and told me to head to the office. I actually hadn’t even texted the pics at that point. Also keep in mind this is after his full work day where he had several surgeries that were performed along with mine. I arrived back at his office and he was already there and immediately began troubleshooting the situation. He called his OR team (Julie and Joanie) before my arrival. They worked for four hours to resolve the issue, taking their time, making sure my daughter was always kept informed on my progress, all the while making sure I was comfortable. I have worked in the fire service for 17 years so I am very familiar with teamwork. It was an awesome experience to see and hear them work. They were monolithic, synergistic, one organism - whatever word you want to use. I truly cannot express how compassionate, diligent, skilled, focused, or humble these three individuals are. Dr. Nayak, Julie, Joanie - you have my deepest respect! There have been a few moments in my life where I have been inspired to be better at what I do and I can say for sure this was a moment for me. To add to that - i was only supposed to follow up on post- op day 1, 5, and 10. Dr. Nayak followed up with me on 6 of my 7 days so far with two more scheduled follow ups. I cannot recommend him or his team enough! In my opinion, the true measure of a professional is how they act and perform when things are hard or there is a challenge beyond the ordinary. Just to be clear - I am an actual patient and am willing to discuss my results with anyone. Thanks for reading and best wishes to all! Updated on 6 Feb 2021: Quick update - Healing is definitely a slow roll. The first 2 weeks were probably the worst. There is really no pain post surgery, more of just a tight feeling. It’s still tight now, but not like it was in the first two weeks. I think the hardest part so far was being on a “soft food” diet for 10 days. I figured out that most breakfast foods - eggs, oatmeal, malt o meal, etc. are soft, so I pretty much just lived off of breakfast foods. I’m pretty sure I overdosed on apples and cinnamon oatmeal at some point and then terrorized St. Louis by throwing pancake shurikens at people while dressed as a ninja, but I can’t be sure. Seriously though - it has probably been hilarious watching me recover. The first two days my lip was numb from the anesthesia so I wore half of what I ate and drank. I just now started actually using my neck to turn my head so I have been side eyeing people a lot also. I am being waaaay more cautious then I need to be but I want to make sure that I don’t do anything to ruin the end results. I think the coolest part has been glimpsing my shadow and seeing that I no longer have a double chin. Thank you Dr. Nayak! I will post again once I hit the 1 month mark. God bless and y’all keep yourselves safe out there! Updated on 3 Mar 2021: At week 6 I still have a decent amount of swelling on both sides of my jaw where the jowls are. I am healing sloooooooooow. From the front my face looks rounder than it usually is which sucks, but I was told the recovery for this was 3-4 months at least. I am thinking more like 4-6 for me. The profile definitely looks better though. The beard is giving me some extra “chin” so to speak so it’s hard to see what the real profile is just yet. If your reading this review and thinking about having surgery - please check out the review by “casey9. She nailed the mental aspect perfectly. Mentally the recovery process is tough. I am still having what I would call bad days where I am being impatient and wanting the final results immediately, but I am trying to take my own advice. Be patient ;). Will post in another few weeks.
The entire office is friendly professional and knowledgeable.Dr Nayak makes sure his staff will make you feel comfortable safe and well cared for ! You won’t be sorry in putting yourself in their hands :)
I love The Nayak team ..always extremely happy with every procedure I have had with them .. Dr. Nayak is brilliant and his professional team that he has collected around his practice are top notch .. Kathy H
I have been seeing Dr. Nayak and his staff for several years now and every time I leave his office more than satisfied. Whatever the treatment is whether it's filler of various types, CO2, IPL, Botox, or a consult on a surgery, Dr. Nayak and his staff are in know about all the new treatments available and the best way to approach my specific needs. He has even advised me against surgery because it is not yet needed!!! And, when we are in another state and unable to get to him, he happily referred us to another grade A doctor near us! Dr. Nayak has top-notch knowledge (and hands), couldn't get any better! I am so happy to know, I am able to get quality care within the two states I travel between the most!! Best facial and neck doc around!!
From the photos, it looks like you would be a good candidate for buccal fat pad reduction. This is a common cosmetic facial surgery procedure that is performed to help slim the cheeks or face. The buccal fat pads are walnut sized fat deposits deep in the cheeks. These fat masses are located 1-2 inches behind the corner of the mouth. Some patients have a very full or more round face, in part from large buccal fat pads - often referred to as “chipmunk cheeks”. Reducing the buccal fat pads will result in a slimming of the face. The buccal fat pads are accessed through two small incisions hidden inside the mouth. This combined with cheek filler will give an even more contoured and slimming look.
Getting the prettiest and most natural results in cases like yours requires an expertly-done deep necklift. Liposuction, Kybella, Coolsculpting, mirconeedling, etc will not create a similar result. This procedure relies on an incision that is hidden in the crease behind your chin, so it is very difficult to detect after you have healed for several months. Through the incision, the deep muscle layers and fibrous tissue of the neck are reworked, which restores the neckline contour. Based on your description, I would not waste money on anything but a neck lift. I would advise you to choose your surgeon carefully – creating a natural lift at a young age requires great surgical judgment and skill.
The image is realistic and I do believe your goals would be achieved by having rhinoplasty with an experienced surgeon. You have the potential for a really beautiful, and perfectly natural, result. You can minimize, but not eliminate, your chances of an untoward outcome by selecting a meticulous, experienced, rhinoplasty expert.
