What could be done about this lines on my neck. I recently notice them last year and can't seem to get rid of them. Will some exercise or cream/procedure take care of this? I am only 23 but my neck looks 50. People think I am in my 30s. HELP.

Answer: Horizontal neck lines Horizontal neck lines are very difficult to treat well.It is best to use creams and lasers on the skin and then maybe try Thermismooth treatments. Surgery would be too aggressive at this young age.RegardsDr. J

Answer: Horizontal neck lines in my 20s. Any suggestions? Creases in the skin are a result of combination of muscles as they move in conjunction with the overlying skin. Although the crease areas indicate a redundancy of the overlying skin- they allow the body to move and have flexibility . As we age- the creases become more prominent. A neck lift can reduce this however at your age I suggest delaying this procedure until its benefits can be more measurable.
