2-3 units of Botox at the base of the nose is a nice trick to lift the nose tip. It would last 2-3 months. It would not be the cause of any dry mouth symptoms. I would explore other reasons.

A small dose such as 2 units should not last long. Even though Botox can last 3-4 months, smaller amounts typically last a lot less, and you may only see an effect for about 2 months.
I agree that the dry mouth is unlikely to be the result of Botox as well.

I don't think that 2 units of Botox caused dry mouth. This is a very low dose and shouldn't spread to the mouth. With low doses, the duration of Botox is less. I would say about 6-8 weeks at most.

Hello Bethhearod,On average Botox lasts about 3 months.  In some people it is only 2 months and I have some luckier patients who feel it lasts almost 6 months.  2 units of Botox would be very unlikely to cause dry mouth.  Large doses of Botox injected directly into the saliva glands can decrease excess saliva, but 2 units wouldn't be expected to cause any problem.  You may want to see your general practitioner to make sure nothing else is going on.I hope this helps and good luck.  

In the upper lip or bunny lines, 2 units of Botox may last 2 to 3 months.  It is not enough Botox to do much else.
