What are the chances of a nipple dying and falling off following breast lift and areola reduction surgery?

rovina222
I have asymmetrical breasts - Im considering a breast lift on the left breast only and reduction of the left areola. Im very nervous because I have heard stories of nipples falling off during recovery! Is this a myth? Im fit and healthy, I would assume I have good circulation. I would really like my mind put at rest before going ahead with the surgery, however also desiring the much needed symmetry!
