Can I get a breast lift with areola reduction if I have visible veins on my areola? (Photo)

Far more important than the technique is the skill and experience of your plastic surgeon. I can understand your concerns, but surgeons encounter a lot of bllod vessels like the one you can see under the skin while doing your operation, so cutting through the particular vein that you are talking about is not a concern at all...!! The areola will be reduced during your up lift procedure and it will get rid of the vein that is running along the circumference.

Hello and thank you for your question. The veins will not cause a problem during your breast lift/reduction.  This is very common.  This can be designed to result in an
improved shape and contour of your breasts while minimizing scar
appearance.  Make sure you specifically look at before and after
pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon
and evaluate their results.  The most important aspect is to find a
surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a
qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

regarding having your breast surgery and the presence of veins in the
breasts.  During these types of surgery, these types of veins are
routinely encountered along with plenty of blood vessels and this does not
affect your ability to have the surgery or your results from the surgery. 
You may simply be noticing these more because of your fair skin tone. 
Generally speaking, it is not of concern regarding breast surgery.  Hope

Visibility or presence of the veins you have shown on the breast does NOT affect your ability to have breast surgery.  Most patients have these veins, it's just that in some (like you) with light complexion of the skin, they are very noticeable.

If we encounter a vein or artery during surgery they are normally tied or cauterized.  There is usually very little blood loss  during a breast lift or breast lift with augmentation. As long as you are a normal healthy individual your risks should be very minimal. Best of luck with your procedure .

Everyone has veins, obviously. You are fair skinned and this one is superficial but poses no problem whatsoever to having the desired surgery.  You should complete the weight loss before moving forward but this is a good time to begin exploring options. Best wishes.

It should not be a problem to undergo a breast lift. There are veins and arteries all over the body and certainly some are cut through to perform a breast lift. Good luck!

Yes, you should be able to undergo any type of breast surgery, despite the visible veins around the areola.My best advice: select your plastic surgeon carefully. Make sure that he/she has significant experience achieving the types of outcomes you will be pleased with. Then, communicate your goals carefully, as well.
