Hi there, my case is quite unusual. You always here about mothers hating their breasts for the droopiness. I am an 18 year old girl who is not overweight and have always worn a supportive bra. However I have always hated my breasts, they are saggy with large areolas and I feel so self conscious. People always tell me to wait until I've had children for surgery but I don't think I can, it's making me miserable. Please help.
Answer: Breast Lift / Breast Augmentation/ Breast Implants/ Anatomic Gummy Bear Implants/ Silicone Implants I appreciate your question. I perform a liposuction breast lift that removes tissue from the areas you don't want such as near the armpit and the lower portion hanging near your stomach. Once I use this to shape the breast I then remove the skin to tighten the breast and create a better shape with nice cleavage. Since I perform this less invasively the recovery time is faster and drains are not necessary. The size would depend on the proportion with your body versus going for a cup size. It works very well if there are asymmetries. I can also use the removed fat as a natural breast augmentation by grafting the fat back into the breast to create more projection or into the top to create more cleavage. This procedure can also be combined with an implant if needed or wanted. It should not affect nipple sensation, mammograms, cancer risk or breast-feeding. If you gain or lose weight, the transferred fat can do the same. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic plastic surgery. Best of luck! Dr. Schwartz Board Certified Plastic Surgeon #RealSelf100Surgeon #RealSelfCORESurgeon

Answer: The Bellesoma Method Thank you for you question and photos, The Bellesoma Method is a current technique to lift and/or reduce breasts without using implants or the ugly vertical scars. The incisions are hidden around the areola and in the inframammary crease. The vertical incision has been completely eliminated. The areola incision heals almost invisibly due to the fact that there is hardly any tension on the closure. With this particular technique, ducts are preserved along with nerve supply maintaining nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed. Because the breast is reshaped internally and is secured to your chest muscles, upper pole fullness is possible without an implant. Attached is a patient who underwent The Bellesoma Method. Please note that her tissue was used to create upper pole fullness and cleavage without any foreign materials (mesh, implants, etc). It is a proprietary technique that only surgeons that have been trained by me can perform. I hope this helps. Best wishes and kind regards, Dr. Gary Horndeski

Answer: How can you be helped? Far more important than the technique is the skill and experience of your plastic surgeon. Choose your surgeon rather than the technique and let them explain why one technique may be better than another. Answer: Young with sagging breasts I have seen a lot of patients in your situation, so please know that you are not alone! I also understand this can be super frustrating because drooping breasts are expected as you age, but not when you're young. While you may not want to wait until you are done having children, you do want to wait until the breasts are done growing. At 18 you may still be growing, so that is the first thing to know. If your breasts have stayed at the same size, and your weight is stable too, then it is reasonable to consider a breast lift. A full breast lift can reshape the breast and also reduce the size of the areola and lift the areola to a higher position as well. You would have the full "anchor" type scars, so keep in mind you would be trading incisions or scars for the improved shape and nipple/areola position. Also one thing to note- the possible risks do include a change in nipple sensation or breastfeeding ability. Also, the breasts will change with pregnancy, and with breastfeeding, in a way that may or may not benefit from additional surgery at a later date. Given many women are now having kids later in life, such as their 30s and 40s, I understand you wanting to do the procedure sooner rather than later. Just take your time and research the right doctor for you, since surgery is a life-changing decision.
