We are all asymmetrical :)&nbsp;&nbsp;Again, like others have said, it's hard to say definitively since we cannot see the whole picture. &nbsp;Just looking at your picture, I think that a little Botox could be helpful and create a bit more symmetry. &nbsp;

What treatment would be best for the asymmetry in my eyes...Botox, fillers, blepharoplasty? Thank you!

We haven't heard any changes from Allergan (the manufacturer of Botox) but sometimes with our patients I have seen it not lasting as long because they are under a higher amount of stress or increased their workout routine. &nbsp;Other than those reasons, we haven't seen any change in duration with our patients. &nbsp;Hope this is helpful to you.

my botox doctor tells me that my botox injections are not lasting as long because by law proteins have been removed ....is this true?

It's completely normal to have swelling after injections. &nbsp;Try not to be too critcal too soon. &nbsp;Give it a chance to calm down (1-2 weeks). &nbsp;Sometimes injection sites may be a little more swollen than&nbsp;other areas making one side look bigger than the other. &nbsp;

Hello I had 1 syringe of juvaderm in lips &amp; smile lines today. Do my smile lines look too harsh &amp; lips uneven? love my Dr &amp; my results were always immediate with no swelling before. It looks like you can see the filler in my smile lines &amp; my bottom lip is larger on one side. I added photos -the 1of me sort of smiling is right after I did the same thing the last time. She typically does 60% in smile lines and 40% lips -this time it was 50/50. Will this go down? Will I get my turned up smile back

You should be able to get Botox done before or after getting bloodwork done without any side effects. &nbsp;Even the day before or after :)

I’m getting Botox for the first time soon. I am getting one blood test done and I was considering scheduling my blood work appointment one day before getting Botox. Is it OK to have this one blood test done one day prior to getting Botox? I wasn’t sure if getting blood drawn a day before Botox would cause any negative side effects to my Botox result. If it’s not OK, what is the minimum amount of days I need to get the blood work done before getting Botox?

I usually recommend starting Botox when the lines start to stay there when you are not doing that expression. &nbsp;It sounds like its a genetic trait and so I don't believe that it would be too early to start.

You can barely see the lines but i know they are starting to form. I use spf 30 and i notice that the wrinkles that are starting to form is genetic. My dad has the same lines but are deeper than mine. Will botox at my age prevent them from getting deeper? Or is it tol early?

You should be just fine. &nbsp;Juvederm should not move after being injected & bending your head down for a few minutes shouldn't have done anything damaging :) &nbsp;Swelling can be normal after injections as well. &nbsp;

Hello , yesterday I have had juvederm fillers ( 3rd cc) great results so far; but, I was wondering what could happen if I accidentally bended my head down minutes after being injected? Can the gel move at this point? I am not very concerned but, I have noticed a bit of swelling under my lip on the right side of my face. ( The fillers were done in my chin area to correct asymmetrical chin) thank you.

Botox typically lasts 3-4 months. &nbsp;It usually gradually fades away as time goes by. &nbsp;You may notice that you will be able to move and express more and more as it gets closer to the 3-4 month time frame. &nbsp;The wrinkles will come back as the Botox wears off. &nbsp;You could talk to your provider about doing less Botox next time if you are wanting a little more movement/expression with your future Botox treatments.

And will wrinkles came back after the botox effect will disappear

You should not have permanent swelling. &nbsp;It may take time to resolve. Sometimes someone's skin may be a little more sensitive & it takes a little longer to calm down. &nbsp;Hang in there...

Can active FX laser cause permanent swelling? I had procedure done a month ago and still have some swelling on upper cheekbones
