I have clear lumps on my lips after Juvederm 7 days after having procedure. Is this filler on the surface or swelling? (Photo)

It's been a week since my appointment and while I've been waiting patiently for the swelling to subside I feel like my lips are now almost normal except for some clear blister-like lumps. I seem to have one at each injection site. It's difficult to get a photo in good focus but I hope you can see what you need to? I've circled the three main bumps but there are obviously more. They aren't painful, are semi-hard and are seemingly a transparent bubble covered by very thin skin. Thanks in advance

It is very difficult to see from your photo.  I would go back for a follow up and have your lips assessed sometimes the lumps can be massaged out or can be dissolved .   Best of luck

Thank you for your question. It is hard to make a clear assessment from the photo. However, if that pocket is filled with Juvederm, it can be dissolved with Hylenex. Be sure to follow up with your practitioner in 10-14 days, if this does not resolve.

These bumps could be a bit of filler. Try gently massaging the bumps. If that doesn't do the trick then see you injector to have the bumps dissolved. It is a fairly simple procedure.

Occasionally these high points will respond quite nicely to massage with fingers from your injector. There is the possibility that some of the product extruded to this area. If it is product it generally responds very well to a small injection of Hyaluronidase.

please go back to your injector and let them see. It is impossible to tell from the photo. If the bumps are from juvederm they should go away with massage and can also be removed with hyaluronidase.
