Interested in getting a BBL. Not a tummy tuck. But I’d like a flat as possible stomach also with my hips and buttocks projected..I gain most of my weight in my upper body (back, arms, stomach, face) and never in my lower body. I’d like an hourglass shape with heart shaped bottom. As natural looking as possible.
Answer: BBL Procedure While a BBL can include a tummy tuck it is not necessary and in my office usually advised against in order to have a more comfortable recovery (you can't sleep on your back after a BBL and you can't sleep on your stomach after a tummy tuck). The BBL procedure includes liposuction of the stomach, love handles, back/bra-roll or any other area that has excess fat and then redistribution of the removed fat into your buttock and thighs. Since the procedure is going to thin out/reduce the size of your waistline and upper body and add volume to your butt and hips, it is a body contouring procedure designed to give you an overall more curvier appearance. As always, seek out a board-certified plastic surgeon who has the experience, reviews, and photos to get you the look you want.

If you have loose skin before the BBL, liposuction will not improve the skin laxity. There are some patients I have liposuctioned who look like TT candidates before liposuction who have avoided the TT, but I do not promise that to patients. Healing is multifactorial and not entirely predictable.Schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who performs hundreds of BBLs each year to discuss your current BMI, and liposuction of abdomen, back, and bra rolls. If the waist was smaller at one time, the waist can likely be reduced to those same measurements or smaller provided the muscular and fascial integrity has remained the same. Look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results you are seeking and read patient reviews. Answer: DrDerby Thank you for your question and the photos. To get the best result you really need a full TT as well together with lipo and the BBL. You have a lot of excess skin on your abdomen which will only get worse if we do ipo there and it will not be flat but wrinkles in the end. You need the TT for theflat abdomen , the lipo for the fat of the BBL and to curve your body and to enhance the results of your BBL . Best of luck
