If my HGB A1C is 6.6 will I still be able to have a BBL?

If you are otherwise healthy and your blood sugars are well controlled, you may be a great candidate for the BBL.  Your risk may be slightly higher, but I have performed this procedure safely in well-controlled diabetics.

Thank you for your question. Most likely you surgeon will request additional documentation regarding your condition and he medication that you use. If you are well controlled then you should be able to have the surgery done. Best of luck
