Answer: Volite nodules Hello barbaracon, Persisting nodules from Volite are best treated with hyaluronidase. Treatments with filler can result in swelling immediately after injection or, as in your situation, swelling and delayed nodules. The majority of nodules should go away on their own, but this can take months. In your situation I recommend dissolving them with hyaluronidase. To do this properly each individual bump needs to be injected. Repeated treatments are also often needed, especially when there have been many small injections of product in the neck. This is not an infection. Antibiotics are not necessary, however, some antibiotics such as doxycycline will provide an anti-inflammatory benefit. Prednisone will help settle the inflammatory response but not take away the nodules. Flare-ups often continue. I will often use prednisone for post-injection swelling or a single episode of late onset swelling. I encourage leaving nodules alone and not treating them if they are not noticeable. You look to be also developing some post-inflammatory changes in your skin. In addition to the treatment for the nodules I strongly suggest a skin program to improve your overall skin quality. PRP can be helpful in improving skin quality, while IPL can help decrease redness, and CO2 will benefit pigment and texture and also tighten the skin. Good luck.

Answer: Bumps on neck after Juvederm Volite I would consider having more hyaluronidase injections to dissolve the filler. Getting rid of the filler is usually the best approach when there is a reaction. Make sure to see an expert.Regards,Dr. Ort

Answer: I had Volite put in my neck lines 6 months ago I now have delayed response nodules. How else should I treat this? (photos) Sorry to hear about this unfortunate problem which occurs about 10% of the time with Vicross products. Treatment requires injection of 5Fluorouracil and mithramicin. The injections should be repeated until regression is seen but may not be effectiwith just the one cycle. However, the results can also be quite long lasting. You are advised not to use this product line in the future. Good luck.
