Should I be worried about swollen legs after arms and flank lipo?

Thank you for your question! I would recommend that you follow your post op instructions given to you by the medical facility you had the procedure performed at. We recommend our patients wear a compression garment for the first two to three weeks 24-7 after liposuction. The swelling in your lower legs does sound a little unusual. I would definitely go see your physician concerning this issue. Best of Luck to you! 

Jenn. I appreciate your concern, however it sounds like you are experiencing normal swelling after liposuction. Often times swelling from the treated areas like your flanks will dissipate slowly and gravity then passes the swelling down to your legs and calves.  It should resolve over the next several weeks. I recommend that you confirm my advice with your plastic surgeon. Good luck.

You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, inflammation is normal, even in non lipoed areas.
If you have any concerns, please follow up close with your plastic surgeon.
