I had a breast augmentation and lifting througth the nipple on 2/16.I had small, droopy breast. Besides that one was bigger than the other.i Have 350cc in one and 400cc in the other.silicon..I hate my breast now..before i had small saggy breast now i have huge sagging breast..should i do another lifting?im worry that they will sagg again..or should i get smaller implants and a lifting?thank you
Answer: Drooping after breast augmentation and a lift From your photographs, it seems you had a circumareolar lift.this is not a particularly strong lift as far as being able to move the nipple and getting a long term result. At this point, I think it would be safe to proceed with a lollipop or an anchor pattern mastopexy. Choosing to downsize the implants would probably give you a significantly longer lasting result. You should talk to your original plastic surgeon to get their input on the different possibilities of how to change the aesthetics of your breasts.

Answer: Post Operative Ptosis Recurrence In patient, who have undergone augmentation/mastopexy with recurrent drooping all hope is not lost. These patients have the option of undergoing repeat mastopexy to further lift and tighten the breast envelope. You might consider downsizing, as mastopexy and augmentation are competing procedures which are often performed in concert. The mastopexy lifts and tightens/constricts the breast while an augmentation expands the breast. The augmentation has the added feature of adding weight to the breast which will be at the mercy of gravity and further stretch the tissue. A smaller implant can be helpful in avoiding further recurrence. As always, discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon (ABPS).

Answer: Sagging breasts If a patient has sagging breasts (meaning nipples are drooping) before implants, then they will have sagging breasts afterwards. I always tell my patients that implants do not lift a breast. Implants only enlarge the breasts, and if it's saggy before, it'll be larger and still saggy after. Breast lift is probably what you needed in the first place; luckily, it still can be done after implants. As long as you like the size, there's no need to remove the implants. Be sure to discuss your goals and concerns with your board certified plastic surgeon and consider the pros and the cons. Be certain your surgeon is properly certified. I've attached a link where you can start your search.

Answer: Breast sagging after implants I'm so sorry you're not happy with the results of your breast surgery. From your picture, it does not look like your breasts were significantly lifted with your peri-areolar mastopexy (or around the nipple lifting). The best option to truly lift and reshape your breasts would be a vertical or "lollipop" breast lift. You look from your picture (although hard to tell without seeing your picture before implants) as though you have enough of your own breast tissue to get a great result with smaller implants and a more significant breast lift. Have you discussed this with your previous surgeon? Best of luck with everything and I hope you are able to achieve the results you want.

Answer: Sagging breast after implants I am sorry to hear you are unhappy. I agree with the other doctor that a full vertical breast lift with possibly smaller implants may be necessary-wait 6 months-at that time areola rediction may be adequate. Read below:
