Lump after mini tummy tuck with lipo, 3 months post op? What what can be done to fix this? (photo)

Hi, I had a mini tummy tuck with lipo 3 months ago by a surgeon I completely trust and has outstanding reviews. however, this is my belly 3 months later. I have this huge lump that sticks out as you can see from the picture and have a line that runs upwards on my belly. I feel like my stomach looked better before my surgery. :(

Thank you for sharing your question and photograph and I can understand your concern.  I would definitely recommend seeing your surgeon for an in-person evaluation and discussion.  Though swelling may still be possible this appears to either be a discrete fluid collection or muscle laxity to the area that could not be tightened as a result of the "mini" portion of your abdominoplasty.  Hope this helps.

This area of concern needs to be addressed by your surgeon.  While contour irregularities can occur, this is not typical and warrants further assessment by your surgeon.  The correction will depend on the cause of the lump.

I would suggest posting a full frontal view of your abdomen. Do visit with your surgeon to make sure you do not have a seroma that needs to be drained.
