Is it normal 8 months post FTT to still have bad tingling sensations, stabbing pain and numbness in my scar area?

I'm sorry to hear that you are having these issues.  Your best resource is your plastic surgeon.  He/She is most familiar with the details of your surgery and how you've been progressing through recovery.  If muscle repair was performed as part of your tummy tuck the issue may be visceral fat.

It is still typical to have some pain and occasional spasms 4 weeks post op.  Your body is healing which will take time.  You will not be able to see your final results for several months yet.  Until then continue to follow the advice of your plastic surgeon and discuss any concerns and questions.

Swelling after a tummy tuck can persist up to one year post op.  However it is always best to discuss any concerns that you have with your surgeon just to ensure that you are healing as expected.
