I have cat eye look following a facelift. Are my eyes permanently reduced to this shape and size?

I have a deep plane face lift 11 days ago. I decided not to have a brow lift but agreed to removing excess skin under lower eyes that would bunch from the procedure (I have Sjogrens). After surgery, doctor said it was necessary to preform a mid face lift too. I look pulled and am hoping the high cheeks will subside over time. It's my eyes that make for a worst look! Stitches in corner of eyes will not be removed until this week. If eyes do not open, can they be opened surgically?

It is likely to get better over the next few weeks and months, but it is too early to know exactly what the outcome will be.

It is likely that swelling is contributing to the appearance of over-correction after facelift with midface lift. Sometimes there is a degree of intentional overlifting anticipating that it will settle. These issues are best addressed to your own surgeon who will know what is normal for this stage of healing.
