I am looking for help regarding what seems to be facial drooping or sagging mostly noticeable on the lower face. It almost looks like jowls on either side of the chin which is odd because I am only in my early-mid 20's. My nasolabial folds also seem to be very prominent. When smiling, on either side of my chin I get a "chipmunk cheek effect as well as weird divots and dimples on the side of my mouth. What could be causing this? What are my non/minimally invasive options to correct it? Thank you!

Answer: Facial fillers occasionally indicated in individuals in their 20s. based on the provided photographs it looks as though some fillers might establish youth in the cheek in the nasolabial region.

Answer: Facial contouring thank you for the questionThe causes for this I can't say for sure since this is an online forum but you appear to have a very nice chin that is not particularly wide and the soft tissues or parotid gland of your face and cheeks is being accentuated. You might try and add a little volume to your midface and cheeks with filler as well as the area just lateral to your chin along her jawline where there is an indentation.More aggressive things I would not recommend that your age.He certainly appeared to be an attractive woman but there are some things you would like to improve or change. Stick to temporary low risk things such as the filler and simply tried to frame interface a bit differently. Some patients aren't enthusiastic about this approach at first but remember it is temporary and even reversible which is a tremendous advantage when altering your appearance at such a young age. More aggressive therapies could change your appearance for life in a way you may not find attractive.Chase Lay, MDdouble board certified facial plastic surgeon
