My daughter had surgery to repair a nasal fracture involving the septum, and her nose was packed with a gel substance. Told it would come out on its own, bur warned not to blow because if it comes out too early, it would have to be repacked. 2 Days after surgery, the gel is sticking to the drip bandage, and stretches and pulls every time we change that bandage. Is this too early? When should we expect the gel to start coming out?
