1 week post op rhino but doesn't feel like much was done. My tip still looks bulbus n my nostrils we're not reduced. I wanted entire profile smaller. Is it too early to express myself as the results are not what I wanted. My surgeon may say that we didn't reduce it because it may if been an air flow issue. I don't want a narrow bridge n bulbus nose from nostrils n tip. I paid 20 gran for something this conservative!!!! Afraid once the cast comes off I'll be disappointed :(

Answer: Unhappy 1 week after rhinoplasty At this stage, you have just begun the healing process. The nose is diffusely swollen and not at all near the final result. The swelling will continue to come down over the coming weeks to months and give you a better idea of what your nose is going to look like. It is imperative that you routinely follow up with your rhinoplasty surgeon throughout this time so they can monitor your nose for any changes and address any concerns you have along the way. Best of luck.

Answer: Unhappy after one week This is an unfortunate situation but since you are only one week out from surgery time is on your side. With the gradual resolution of swelling things will probably look better. It will take a good 6 months to be about 90% healed and usually most surgeons will avoid revision surgery for about a year or so. Work with your surgeon if possible and perhaps a touch up later might be possible if the result falls short of what you were hoping for. When you are more healed you can certainly elicit the opinions of other surgeons to get educated about any options going forward. For now, I would recommend being as patient as possible and expect things to improve as the swelling gradually resolves. Best of Luck Dr Harrell
