Hello Doctors, Since I had an infection, can the doctors reuse the cartilage that was harvested and placed in the tip? How do they ensure it's not infected when they put it back, especially since I've heard from other doctors that mesh is hard to clean? Is it a good idea to reuse my cartilage if my nose was infected? Would it be better to harvest new cartilage and place it in the tip on the day of removal, or should I wait for it to heal first? I'm very confused.
