What can I do to correct my uneven nostrils? 5 years post op (photos)

Question

I got a rhinoplasty in 2018. Immediately after surgery I noticed my nostrils were uneven. I asked the doctor and he said it was swelling and they would be even in a couple months. Well they weren’t! He ended up putting a couple steroid injections in my nose and saying that he wouldn’t fix it because it was “minor”. I like the shape of my nose. I like everything except the uneven nostril. Since the doctor who did it isn’t willing to fix it.. anyone have suggestions on what could fix my nostrils?

Based on your current photos, your tip veers a little bit to your left and you have asymmetrical nostril show. If you're looking to achieve a more symmetrical nostril appearance on front view, microdroplet Silikon-1000 injections may be considered for nostril lowering and a more symmetrical nostril appearance on front view. Thank you for your question and for providing photos. Asymmetrical nostrils are often corrected with an alar base reduction. During this procedure, a specific amount of tissue can be removed from the wider nostril to produce a more narrow and symmetrical result.
Please keep in mind that each subsequent nose surgery becomes more complex due to the loss of structural support, scar tissue, and other factors. The importance of experience, expertise, and artistry cannot be overstated. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon, with expertise in rhinoplasty techniques. They will be able to review your surgical history, discuss your concern with you, and determine the best treatment option.

Hello! Thank you for your question.I have evaluated your case regarding the information you provided and your photos.From the photos it looks like there is a tip deviation to the left. There is a retraction of the left nostril. To correct it, I recommend you a revision rhinoplasty surgery. You need rib cartilage reconstruction. I cannot promise 100% symetria. With a revision surgery always expect at least 1 level better than now.
