Thank you for your question. Gynecomastia is the best way to help reduce the male chest. It allows your Surgeon to reduce the fat component in the chest wall and if needed to remove the breast tissue that is there. During the healing process the skin will retract as well. I would suggest speaking with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in person to evaluate you and discuss your options. Best of luck to you.
Your gyno looks relatively mild. It might improve enough with just weight loss. If not you should get some consultations from experienced gyno surgeons who do this on a regular basis. Most guys need a combination of both liposuction and glandular excision. Godoy luck.
Hi, in order to determine the most appropriate treatment of gynecomastia, it is necessary to know the cause of gynecomastia. For this, we want imaging with ultrasound. If it is only due to local fat accumulation, we take this fat and shape breast area with liposuction. However, in mammary gland enlargement, surgical removal of the mammary gland is required.
By the photo it appears you have gynecomastia. Without examining you it is impossible to tell whether this can be corrected completely with liposuction alone or if there would need to be some type of glandular excision. Weight loss will likely help as well but it may not correct the breasts one hundred percent. If it does require liposuction I generally like to use Vaser liposuction to help tighten the skin. Be sure to see a plastic surgeon who performs a lot of these procedures if you indeed are considering having corrective surgery.
You appear to have a “normal” looking chest based on your photo alone. Do you feel that you have gynecomastia? If you are bothered by excess fat and breast tissue, then removal of the excess can be performed by either excision and/or liposuction.
Dear viper1985,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Hi dear. Liposuction is one of the most effective treatments when the problem is mainly related to excess fat in the chest area, as in your case. This procedure involves the removal of accumulated fat using a cannula that is inserted into the skin and used to suction out the fat. It is ideal when there is not a large number of mammary glands or excess skin. The results are usually natural, and the recovery time is relatively short. You can write to us at 829-554-6062 to give you all the recommendations for your surgery.
Thank you for your question and the photo. It appears that you have some chest asymmetry, and likely some excess tissue. An in-person exam would be needed to determine if you have more fatty development or true breast tissue excess. A surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery can give you a definitive answer. Treatment options depends on the anatomic problem. For some patients, liposuction alone is sufficient. For others, direct excision. For many, a combination of excision and liposuction is the best plan. Some patients even need skin excision as well. From your picture, you likely will not need skin excision. During your consultation, you will be able to create a customized plan to address your chest. Good luck.
Sir,if its gynaecomastia and its been more than a year that it has persisted... then the only treatment is surgical removal of gland.BUTMany a times, the welling on chest or the male boobs is due to excessive fat alone and can be treated with either Gym and exercise or plain Liposuction.
The best treatment outcomes for gynecomastia surgery involves the creation of the armor chest plate (please see article online). This involves removal of fat, glandular tissue, as well as building up the chest so that it is bold with linear perimeters using strategic at grafting, or examle to create medial chest pillars. Many patients also elect to have their six packs etched in and eliminate love handles. All of this can be performed in a single surgery. Please consider a virtual consultation with a high definition body contouring provider.
