Hi Ive had unilateral Gynecomastia for about a year now and I’m 20. I’ve tried everything to get rid of it my self and I don’t want to have surgery. I feel like this going to be permanent. Is there any thing I could do or at the very least make the gynecomstia even. Because I’d much rather have lateral gyecomastia and look normal instead of having a noticable uneven chest.
Answer: Treatment for unilateral gynaecomastia The only remedy for gynaecomastia is surgical removal of the gland and fat. Gynaecomastia cannot be created in a normal breast just for the sake of making it even with the other side. The proper way to deal with this issue is to get your unilateral gynaecomastia operated.

Answer: Unilateral gynecomastia I see unilateral gynecomastia in about 5% of the patients I treat. I believe that surgery is really the only successful treatment. Gynecomastia usually begins during puberty. If it starts later, bloodwork should be done to identify a possible cause.

Answer: Gynecomastia Dear Considerate806161, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Unilateral Gynecomastia Hi! I am sorry to hear about your situation. It sounds like you have been trying hard to try to fix this on your own. Unfortunately, it seems like you might need to seek professional help. When you want permanent results for gynecomastia treatment, you must go through surgery. There are many different types of surgery that can be done to correct this condition. The type of surgery depends on how severe your case is. Some of the most popular treatments include: • Liposuction: This procedure removes excess fat from specific areas of the body. In addition, liposuction can remove fatty deposits under the breasts. • Reduction Mammoplasty: This procedure reduces the size of the breast. • Augmentation Mammoplasty: This operation increases the volume of the breast. If you decide to undergo surgery, we recommend that you see a plastic surgeon who specializes in cosmetic surgery. Your doctor should perform a physical exam and discuss with you all possible options available to treat your condition. We hope you found this information useful.

Answer: Unlikely correctable without surgery While much of the male breast is fatty tissue that may reduce in size with losing weight, actual breast tissue is almost impossible to fix without surgery. Luckily this can be done through a 1/2 inch incision in the breast crease, and the scar typically heals beautifully.
