What’s the difference between Galaflex and Suture internal bra?

Galaflex is poly-4-hydroxybutyrate which is an internal scaffold support system. Sutures to re-recreate an internal support system is nothing at all in comparison.

A suture internal bra is a capsulorrhaphy, which is like having the underwire without the bra except it doesn't always last. Galaflex mesh adds a layer of supporting material, which is my definition of an internal bra. I've seen several cases where strong permanent sutures had been placed as a suture internal bra but ended up doing nothing. The reason is that it is the strength of the tissue being sutured that determines long term results. An internal bra is done because the tissues have already shown that they are too thin or weak to support implants or dense breast tissue.
