The fees generally vary based on how extensive the procedure is and how many areas are treated. The fees are between $4000 and $6000 for the abdomen. Small isolated areas can often be addressed under local anesthesia. Seek a consultation from a board-certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options. Best wishes.
Prices for any surgery vary from place to place and doctor to doctor. It would also depend on whether local or general anesthesia was used or whether the addition of other modalities such as laser-assisted or ultrasound-assisted liposuction is used. I would suggest that you schedule one or two consultations with a board-certified plastic surgeon who can examine you in person and review your options with you.
luvnhair08. The most important factor regarding your liposuction procedure is your surgeon and his or her skill and experience, NOT the type of liposuction machine being used! There are lots of slick ads promoting different machines promising to shrink skin and remote stretch marks and cellulite. However, buyer beware, as there are no reputable scientific studies demonstrating superiority of these machines over traditional liposuction machines! Costs vary from region to region, and liposuction of the abdominal region in New York City costs from $4000-$10,000.Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to give yourself the best chance for the result you desire. Good luck!
Hello and thank you for your question. Thebest advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. The cost of liposuction varies based on geographic region and surgeon expertise. The best candidates for liposuction have excess fat with good skin elasticity. Make sure you specifically lookat before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgeryperformed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The mostimportant aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommendthat you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon whocan evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. Hello dear! Thanks for the question. The average cost varies a lot depending on the clinic, the country and the plastic surgeon. Ill recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.Good luck :)
Liposuction of the full abdomen in my practice includes from the bottom of the breasts to the pubic line, and along the hips if the patient wishes. Cost is also affected by how much fat is there, which dictates how much time the surgery will take. Some patients have 800 cc removed and some need 3,000 cc removed, which takes longer. Ballpark cost in our area would be about $6,000 including surgery, anesthesia, garments and post operative care. Be sure you meet with an ASPS board certified plastic surgeon and if you are offered surgery in an office OR, be sure the operating room is accredited and certified. Good luck!
If you have good skin quality and a small amount of fat then liposuction is a very good choice. Another less invasive option which works well in small cases is Kybella. Cost would depend on the experience and location of your physician.
The usual reason behind a 'puffy nipple' is male breast tissue, which is referred to as gynecomastia. This glandular tissue does not respond well to liposuction and you may require an open excision to remove the gland. I would advice seeing a Plastic Surgeon to discuss.
Liposuction under tum. local would make a big improvement in your tummy , pubic area and flanks and is easy to undergo. Avoid the big tummy tuck scar as long as you can.
Thank you for your pictures and questions. I think you appear to be a good candidate for contouring liposuction to treat your areas of concern. Make sure you are seeing a plastic surgeon who is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and accept nothing less.Good luck!
Swelling after liposuction generally rebounds starting at day 4 and can be quite dramatic depending on the amount of fat removed, the location, and the person. It is important to wear the compression device as instructed, drink lots of water, and stay active (as permitted). If swelling is u...
Christine. The best candidates for liposuction are people similar to you. It works well removing unwanted fat from areas of the body resistant to diet and exercise. In someone like yourself, body contouring can best be achieved with micro liposuction technique, utilizing smaller cannulas b...
