Have I had enough skin removed from upper eyelids? (Photo)

It is inevitable that swelling remains on your upper lids, as it  is only 2 weeks following upper lid surgery. However, you can see a positive , which is symmetry of both sides.Swelling progressively improves over time. Even a third week helps, provided you keep your head elevated.

While you are concerned about the result of skin excision, this impacts on the height (position) of the lid fold that runs across your lid. However there is much more to quality eyelid surgery than simply removing some excess skin. It requires a reshaping of the lid fold.The most noticeable aspect that may be concerning you now is the position of your lids as they cross your eyeballs, ie. your eyes do not look sufficiently open as seen on the photo. Without seeing how you looked immediately prior to surgery it is not possible to explain this fully.
The possibilities are, either this has appeared this way only since the surgery. Of so, it is a reflection of postoperative swelling, which will be temporary and revert to the presurgical position.

If your eyelid lid margins were this low on the eyeball before the surgery, it indicates a condition called lid ptosis. The treatment of ptosis is different. Ptosis is corrected only with a specific surgical procedure on the internal mechanism of your lid. Removal of lid skin does not have any benefit on lid ptosis.
It takes 4 months to reveal the final result.

You may have some continuing improvement in the appearance as the swelling resolves. Some surgeons remove a bit of the subcutaneous tissues above the crease to lighten the heavy tissues beneath the brows. It is not clear from your photo if any "sculpting" was done. A brow lift would give further improvement in the appearance of the eyelids. It appears that the fat pad below the brows is resting on the eyelid - and this would be improved by a brow lift. When you use your forehead to lift the brows, you can see that elevation of the brows takes some of the weight off of the eyelid. Cosmetic Botox is an option but not likely to provide substantial lift of the brows. It will minimize the "11" lines. Best wishes.
