Hi, I've started to develop some nasty looking pimples that are sore to the touch about a month after my FUE. Is this normal? I'm worried it's folliculitis. I have contacted my doctor and am awaiting a response. Thank you.

Answer: 1 month post-op Hello, Thank you for your question and uploading photos. You look absolutely normal for 1 month post-op. Pimples may happen due to ingrown hair. But of course there is solution for that. I would advice you to contact your surgeon and he will prescribe you some products which will help you with redness and pimples.

Answer: Pimples and redness 1 month after FUE. These small or different sized pimples may be observed 1-2 months after HT op . Reason for that is kinky new growing hair causes small enfected foci of underneath skin. I suggest you to hot water compress on to pimples by using a small hot wet towel for 2-3 minutes and 2 times a day for 1 week.İt surprisingly decrease the inflammation and infection. If pimples sustained more than 3 days without any healing sign (decrease redness and size) it is better to start to use an antibiotics (such as amoxycillin+clavulonic acid OR ciprofloxacine).
