My head profile is almost circular from eyeline to above temple, and pointed nose makes my whole face appear circular from side. Basically there is too much bald, round forehead there. I'm 35 with very fine hair, and thin at front, however I don't feel like it is disappearing. My main concern is how much could FUE lower the hairline to effectively make face profile appear more square? Or would bringing it too far down result in too small forehead, or the hair would still follow a round profile?

Answer: Realistic expectations Thanks for posting your question with photos. A transplant can help reframe the face and the result is a lasting change. That being said, you want to create the best frame for your face and anatomy. You appear like you always had a high forehead. It would be an aesthetic mis-step to square off your hairline. I would rather keep the shape but reinforce and better define the hairline in a natural pattern that you will enjoy for the rest of your life.To improve your facial aesthetic, you should consider chin implantation as a second procedure to compliment hair restoration. I have performed chin implants at the same time as hair transplants and the results have been strikingly beautiful.Best of luck from NYC!

Answer: Question about hair transplant There is no limit to how far you can bring your hairline down, the issue is to bring it down so that it improves your appearance and it is always normal. You need to work with an experienced hair transplant surgeon who can help you do this. FUE is now available in many surgeons hands, but make sure that they are experienced in it by asking to meet with some of their patients who had it done. We offer this every month at a monthly open house event were former patients can discuss the nuances of the hair transplant process as they experienced it.
