Ever since I was quite young, my face has been relatively flat from the sides and lacks a defined jawbone. I'm a healthy weighted individual (59kg at 167cm) and at my slimmest my face only seemed to look worse, and I've always wanted to get something done but to the untrained eye, I don't know what is actually WRONG with my face. I just know that I don't like my cheeks, chin and jaw.
Answer: What can be done to improve my flat, undefined facial profile? (Photo) It is hard to give you a complete accurate evaluation only with the lateral view. But based on what you provided, you do have deficiency in your mid face or middle third of your face. It looks to me that this involves the paranasal area (area around the nose) and the cheeks as well.I would recommend, either fat grafting the paranasal and the cheek areas or placing paranasal implants and fat grafting the cheeks.I hope that was helpfulGood luck

Answer: Rhinoplasty, best choice for you, some advices: Thank you very much for sharing your concerns with us.The harmony between facial parts makes us instinctively recognize the beauty... without knowing it, without defining it, just a perception that surprises and captivates us.In this regard, I suggest perform a Closed Rhinoplasty (without visible scars) to treat the tip, base and nasal bridge. With this procedure you get a delicate nose, better harmonize with your other facial features.Respectfully,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-

Answer: Changes to your facial profile I do not think that there is anything wrong with your face. Cosmetic surgery is the alteration of normal form into one which is more acceptable to the patient. Plastic surgeons are guided by their experience regarding how a change, small or big, may suit your face. Your chin could be made bigger with an implant or surgery to your bone called a genioplasty. The shape of your nose can also be altered, such as the tip. Your cheeks can be enlarged with fat grafting. However, it is only after careful consultation and clinical examination an objective decision can be made in your case concerning which correct surgical harmonious course could make you happy. This can include no surgery at all.Hope this helps.

Answer: What can be done to improve my flat, undefined facial profile? Hi, I have performed many facial shaping and contouring procedures over the past 30 years. From the photos, your cheeks are very flat (concave) anteriorly (in the front), there is some excess facial fat in front and below the cheeks and the chin is quite weak. These combine to create an elongated, oval shaped face. Following the beauty principles outlined in my book on face and body beauty, women look the most feminine, youthful and attractive with heart shaped faces. Heart shaped faces have cheeks that are full and round in the front. Cheek augmentation with a dermal filler or using cheek implants for a permanent enhancement will create full, round cheeks that will feminize the entire face. I would combine facial liposuction to remove the excess fat for further cheek contouring. A weak chin creates an imbalance making the nose appear larger, the mid face top heavy and the lower face look short that de-emphasizes the lips and allows early formation of a double chin. Chin augmentation using a chin implant will add projection to the chin creating harmony and balance to the lower face. I have found that placement of a silastic chin implant, through a small curved incision under the chin (also allows excess skin removal) to be very safe, quick and highly effective.Hope this helps.

Answer: What to do about relatively undefined face The mid face lacks definition .Cheek implants can help here. In the lower face possibly an implant with or without liposuction would give definition.Make an appointment with an experienced plastic surgeon who will perform imaging on the face to determine what can be done to satisfy your aesthetic goals.
