Dr Nishikawa's professional and friendly manner, knowledge and experience are the attributes that gave me confidence and trust in him. The surgery was preformed using local anaesthetic and sedation. I had a septorhinoplasty performed by Mr Hiroshi Nishikawa at the Westbourne Centre under LA sedation. My nose was shaped like a large 'beak' with a tip that drooped down leaving me desperately unhappy with my profile. Mr Nishikawa was very patient during my consultation listening to my concerns and advising me accordingly, he pointed out that I had septal deviation that he would also straighten during the surgery. Thankfully I was suitable for LA sedation which is one of the reasons I chose Mr Nishikawa. My previous surgery in 2008 was under a general anaesthetic and resulted in me staying in bed feeling rough for 3 days followed by a long and slow recovery. On the day of my surgery everyone at the Westbourne Centre was extremely professional and very kind, and everything was explained thoroughly to me. I was a little apprehensive as to whether I would hear and feel anything, but I didn't. Essentially I went 'out' exactly the same as a general anaesthetic but just came round immediately, 30 minutes later I was eating and drinking and 90 minutes later I was dressing to go home. The tablets they gave me kept me completely pain free, again this was not the case with my previous surgery. The result of my nose is fantastic, the 'beak' has gone, and I have a cute tip of a nose that now turns up slightly. I couldn't wish for a better result.

My experience in undergoing breast augmentation with Mr Nishikawa at The Westbourne Centre has been nothing but positive. I was initially attracted by the prospect of not having to have a general anaesthetic. I had to have one for a Rhinoplasty a few years back (under a different surgeon). It left me sick as a dog and not something that I wanted to experience again unless absolutely necessary! At my initial consultation (organised quickly and efficiently by PA, Tara), I found Mr Nishikawa to be very pleasant. We had an in-depth discussion about the procedure, my goals, risks and what realistically could and couldn't be achieved. I wanted a natural look as I'm so petite and that's exactly what I have today. At no time was there ever pressure to undergo surgery, even though I was in no doubt that I wanted to go ahead. Everyone at The Westbourne Centre took great care of me and the surgery was a breeze - even though I was 'awake', I don't remember a thing. There was no nausea afterwards and I was able to go home shortly after my surgery. It was all over so quickly that I remember thinking in the car home: 'Did that just happen?!' Recovery was swift and I attended a follow up 8 weeks after my surgery. I always felt reassured that Mr Nishikawa and his team were there anytime I had a question post-operatively and emails were always answered promptly. Even today, over six-months post-op I know that I can always get in touch should I need any advice or have any questions. I would highly recommend Mr Nishikawa if you are considering cosmetic surgery of any kind, particularly breast augmentation. He is a talented, kind surgeon who is backed by a great team. I had researched the possibility of having breast implants with local anaesthetic for a couple of years after breastfeeding 2 children and losing the majority of breast volume. By the time I eventually made an appointment I was very keen to go ahead with the surgery and I appreciated the way in which Mr Nishikawa countered my enthusiasm in his calm manner by telling me not to rush into it and to ensure I considered the surgery very carefully. This enhanced my faith in his integrity as a medical professional rather than a salesperson (as some cosmetic surgeons are renowned to be). Mr Nishikawa spent considerable time discussing possible options for the type of surgery I should go for during the initial consultation and also set very realistic expectations. The morning of the surgery was calm, serene and everything went to schedule. I was surrounded by a lovely team in theatre who really made me feel at ease. I don't remember a thing after sedation and woke up just as I was being wheeled out of theatre. The initial pain whilst not insignificant was not as bad as I thought and I was back to being out and about and doing light tasks the following day. The outcome of the surgery has really exceeded the expectations that Mr Nishikawa set at the initial appointment and I am nothing short of delighted! I love having the volume back in my breasts and it was a pleasure to throw away all of my padded bras. I also love the way the surgery has not been overly obvious to everyone else (which is what I was concerned about). I can't speak highly enough of my experience from start to finish with Mr Nishikawa (I say 'finish' loosely as he also made it clear that I could return if I have any future concerns or questions). He has a fantastic down-to-earth, calm and patient manner as well as being an excellent knowledgable surgeon.

Three traumas plus a failed rhinoplasty. The outcome is perfect. The surgeon and staff impecible and well worth the money paid. After an extremely failed rhinoplasty and three traumas prior i thought there was no chance of my nose looking any resemblence of my natural nose. Dr Nishikawa took a lot of time to study before trama pictures and has basically built my nose back to its former self prior to any trauma. I cant thank Dr Nishikawa enough for his care and skills used on me. The clinic staff were also amazing, very professional and caring. The whole experience has been much better than i had hoped and has put my faith back in plastic surgery.

Im now 22days po. It took a lot of research before going ahead with this op. For year's couldn't stand the thought of being put to sleep. So i just carried on being unhappy with my large saggy boobs. Then i discovered the awake procedure with sedation brilliant. Had it done left clinic hour later feeling very well fully recommend this way no after effects Updated on 11 Aug 2016: Each day getting better only got micropore tape on now., still find it hard to look at them, seem so small cant wait to cover them up, but still happy I had the op. a long way to go yet, Updated on 2 Oct 2016: 13wks now post op. Very happy so far and healing well except for a couple of stitches left in very uncomfortable and sore, seeing my consultant Wednesday for the first time just Hope he can get to them, good luck to all going through same thing .

Had 285cc implants just over a year ago after losing a lot of weight. My 36B breasts looked empty and droopy. I wasn't happy as soon as I had the implants. Although they were a nice shape, they felt false and too big. I looked matronly in some of my clothes and was really conscious. I just hated the way the felt, really heavy. I decided to have them removed. I've just come home after having them removed under local anaesthetic, no sedation. It went absolutely fine. Apart from the slight pain from the local anaesthetic injections, it was relatively comfortable. It's like I haven't had an operation at all. My boobs look saggy and empty, but I knew what to expect after looking at many before and after photos on this site. I know they will get better over the coming months. I'll keep posting photos. Updated on 23 Jul 2016: Incisions feel a little sore, but other than that I feel normal. My boobs look weird and the skin is wrinkly and empty, but I'm really happy those awful implants are out. Updated on 27 Jul 2016: I can already see some improvement in the skin, especially the left breast. Updated on 29 Jul 2016: Dressings removed. My boobs look at bit square shaped at the bottom, but I'm not too worried as I know they'll change over the next few months. I have the dreaded concave deformity if you look at my boobs from the side like almost all the ladies who explant. This should also improve over the next year I hope!! Other than that I'm really happy. Updated on 25 Aug 2016: Hi here are my photos from 5 weeks post op. I still have a bit of the concave deformity, especially on the right side, but the wrinkly skin is much better. My nipples are still sore and I still have a numb area on both outer sides of my boobs, which I've had since having the implants. Hopefully that will get better over the next year (fingers crossed). I had always wanted a BA from a relatively young age. I'd only ever been a B cup but after breastfeeding 3 children over 6 years I was left with nothing and was a very flat A cup. On the day I couldn't have been more nervous. It was my first ever operation. My only wish was that I had not been so scared because everything was absolutely fine. I was completely unaware of the procedure and woke up chatting with the staff as I was being bandaged. After an hour I was ready to go home. I was very pleased with my results. After 2 years I was ready to have a further enhancement and naturally I chose Hiroshi to carry this out. This time I wasn't nervous!

I went to Mr Nishikawa on recommendation. My whole experience from beginning to end was second to none. It was naturally very daunting making a decision to undergo surgery but over the last couple of years my neck had deteriorated and I had exhausted every non-evasive method, to no avail. I immediately felt at ease and trusting of Mr Nishikawa and appreciated his expert, honest assessment of my precise needs. Being happy with the initial consultation, I decided to go ahead. I was not nervous at all until actually going into theatre, which was a just a normal rush of adrenaline, and before I knew it, it was all over. It was a little surreal not being under anaesthetic but preferable as there were no side affects, no drowsiness. I was aware of my surroundings but did not feel any pain. 13 days later I boarded a plane for the sun. 10 weeks on, I still have a little numbness near my ears, which is absolutely nothing compared to the result Mr Nishikawa has achieved. My scars healed really quickly and the end result is more than I could have hoped for. I would highly recommend Mr Nishikawa and the Westbourne Clinic staff for their professional and caring approach.
