It kicked in about 3 days after the injection. I can barely raise my eyebrows and i can not frown at all. It almost feels like there is a heavy metal feeling weighing my eyebrows down. Can the dysport spread to my eye balls? is this an allergic reaction? IF something was wrong is there a way to remove the dysport?
Answer: Thats what Dysport does Dysport acts at the junction between the nerve and the muscle and block the stimulation that makes the muscle move. It is the muscle movement that causes the wrinkles we see in our upper face. Dysport causes the muscle to relax thereby treating the current wrinkles. It also prevents the muscle from contracting thereby preventing any movement and the formation of wrinkles. But don't worry, if you don't time this effect it will wear off in about 3-4 months.

Answer: Forehead feeling heavy I have found that patients often feel different after their first time getting Botox or Dysport, possibly feeling tight or heavy in certain treated areas. Almost always, this sensation fades within a few weeks and does not recur with repeated injections. The effects of the Botox or Dysport will gradually wear off. There is no way to remove, or dissolve Botox or Dysport. I also always recommend speaking with the doctor who injected you with any questions or concerns. All the best,

Answer: Dysport for the horizontal line of the forehead Thank you for your question. It sounds like you had your forehead treated for the horizontal lines. If too much Dysport was placed, you will feel a heaviness of your brows. There are some measures you can take to counter this, such as weakening the muscles to pull your brow down, thereby allowing it to lift. I would make sure that you visit with an expert injector such as a board-certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist in your area.

Answer: Dysport in forehead I am assuming that you had the Dysport treatment to help with lines across your forehead and perhaps for your frown lines. The way that Dysport works to improve those lines is by weakening the muscle that it is injected into. Thus, the movement is affected. It is normal to not be able to move the muscles that were treated, so it does not sound as if anything is wrong with your procedure. Over time, the movement will return and so will the lines. It may be possible to use a lower dose or alter the injection technique so that it does not affect your brows as much. You should discuss this with the physician who treated you.
