Hi there, I had dysport injected in my crows feet & she also injected under my eyes which is terrible, but I'm wondering if that would prevent my eyes from lifting my cheeks when smiling? The skin on my cheeks when I smile becomes all wrinkled & terrible. Really terrible. It wasn't like that before.

Answer: Poorly placed Dysport in crows feet can affect your smile If the Dysport is not properly placed, it can affect the zygomaticus muscles. These are the lifters of the upper lip and your smile will be abnormal. Under eye placement of Dysport should be left to the experts.

Answer: Dysport under eyes affected cheek muscles Yes, if neurmodulators are not expertly placed under the eyes it can absolutely affect the upper cheek muscles and cause wrinkling and even droopiness. It will wear off in time, but could take 3-4 months to fully resolve. In the future either don't treat this area at all, or seek a more experienced injector for correct placement.
