Pain and burning behind the eye after glabella Dysport and surgiderm filler. What's wrong?

Dysport has been reported to cause neuralgia.  These are extemely rare.  The dose of Dysport you claim to have received is so small it is comparable to roughly 2.5 units of BOTOX.  It is hard to understand why someone would even bother to inject you with so little Dysport.  Normally the 11 line area would be treated with 12-25 units of BOTOX or about 30 to 75 units of Dysport.  Surgiderm is an Allergen filler that has never been approved for use in the United States.  This means that your injector is violating a number of laws and regulations injecting you with this product.  This indicated that you are being treated by someone who is unethical and willing to circumvent the law.  Generally this is done, not because the product is better than what is legally available in the United States but that the doctor is getting a deal on illegally imported product.  The concern I have, is if the doctor is willing to cut this corner, are they willing to cut other corners?  Was the product you received actually Surgiderm or counterfeit Surgiderm?  Many counterfeit filler products have turned up that do not actually contain hyaluronic acid filler but very inferior products like bio alcamid.  I suspect the pain you are experiencing may be related to this issue.  I would encourage you to report your doctor to the California Medical Board to they can investigate why they are injecting unapproved product, a violation of California business and professions laws.

I would think that if you were fine before the filler, then it would be creating your problem as it was done 7 days after the Dysport, and any "migration" would long be done before that. Surgiderm, any of them, are not approved for us in the U.S. so I cannot comment on what your issue could be except to say that fillers in the glabella can cause some issues if not done perfectly. If someone in the U.S. is using these fillers on you, then 1. that's not legal, and 2. I can't comment on their training except to say that you cannot use illegal products, or you risk losing your license. "This
