You can visit each doctor's websites for their before/after photos and see for yourself. No doctor will answer you and say, we had horrible results. The best advice is make an appointment with several doctors and get different opinions (in person).
That is a very large number of grafts for one procedure but it depends on if it was FUE vs FUT. Your results will take time to determine and vary from patient to patient. A small percent of patients also get no results, it is medicine after all and everyone is different.
This number of grafts are not unusual. The question you need to ask is: Was these grafts follicular units or # of hairs. Hair numbers do not reflect grafts, and are less in terms of quantity than follicular units which have multiple hairs in each. 3800 grafts is a good large number but 3800 hairs, is less than half that number so the results with reflect what you actually got.
We have many clients that have the same degree of hair loss and hair transplant will look very nice and natural in the hands of a skilled doctor. In the hands of a skilled hIr restoration surgeon with artistic background it will look very natural. The transplanted hair will start to grow in after six months and will continue to grow up to 18 months after the procedure.
The pattern of the hair transplant outline is not unusual and looks very good to me. At three weeks all or most of the grafts should be in the resting phase and you will not see your results for another 3 to 6 months. If you get growth of most of 3800 grafts done in the area that is outlined, you should get a great result especially if you have fine hair.
Thank you for the photos. This is an unusual request. However, it can be done. Orientation is critical to ensure a natural result. It is possible you have some traction loss from pony tails if you wear your hair up daily. Sometimes, the hair will com back if you reduce traction.
The cost of a procedure is as individual as the patient and their hair loss.It depends on the clinic you choose, the type of procedure you undergo, the complexity of your case and the number of grafts needed to address your concerns. I suggest you consult a hair restoration expert.
These are hairs that are trying to grow in and are stuck. You can pop them your self or have your doctor do it for you. IMF the area is red you can continue with the antibiotic medication and follow up with your doctor.
