i've had lip fillers 3 times now. the 2nd & 3rd time i reinjected around the 5 month mark. questions: 1. does it actually start to last longer, or will i have to keep doing it every 5 months to keep the size i like? 2. will it eventually get to a point where I can do it once a year or so (if so when?) 3. does it help your own collagen form so they naturally become a bit bigger? 4. do you get scar tissue from the needle? will it go away? 5. will you lose pigment in your lips/around the border?

Thank you for your question! I'm not sure what medication you were given, but cold sores need to be treated with anti-virals. I recommend you to use Valtrex before and after injections. I recommend following up with your Doctor. Best of luck!
Thank you for your question! Swelling can be typical after lip fillers. I would wait a full two weeks after your touch-up before assessing your results. If you're unhappy with your result, you can have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase. Best of luck!
