.5 to 1 cc would be good for improving symmetry to your lips. I prefer to use a micro cannula to inject the lips to prevent bruising. Look for a cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon who is an expert in fillers to discuss your desired results and concerns and go over the cost of your procedure. I hope this helps.
Hi, thank you for your question. Based on your photo, it seems like you already have fullness and volume in the lips. So the amount that you would want to treat the lips with, really depends on you and what you are trying to achieve. If you are looking to make the lips look more hydrated, a filler such as Vobella, or Restylane Refyne would be a good choice as they aren't too thick and won't overfill your lips. I would suggest 1cc of either one total. If you are looking for more fullness in the lips, fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane are thicker and will be able to achieve that look. Again, I would avoid treating with more than 1cc of either one. Its best to consult with an experienced injector based on your needs and desired outcome. All the best,-Melody PAC
Honestly, I think you have good lip volume. If you want to add subtly hydrate the lips and just make them appear a little smoother, I would go with 1 cc of Restylane Silk. If you decide use something a little thicker like Juvederm Ultra or Restylane, then I would go with less than 1 cc.
Thank you for your excellent question and for sharing your photograph. Based on your photo, you appear to be a good candidate for a conservative lip augmentation. You appear to have nice lip fullness at baseline. I would suggest starting with 0.5 cc. Please be sure to see an expert injector for an in-person consultation to fully discuss your goals and expectations in order to determine the best treatment plan. Hope this helps and best wishes!
My my personal opinion is that your lips are plenty full. But if you want to have larger lips, half a cc of Juvederm may suffice but if you want more you can always add more as desired. Good luck from New York City
I personally think you have lips that many desire to create. I would normally say 1 cc is a good initial volume to enhance ones upper and lower lip however you already are full and 1 cc may create an overfilled look. I would start the process ant at the .5 cc mark sit back and study the lip, see if it is to you liking at that volume
How much filler is needed for lip augmentation varies from person to person. I would advise scheduling an appointment with an experienced injector for an in-person consultation. At your consultation the injector can do an assessment, talk with you about your aesthetic goals, and make a recommendation as to which dermal filler product would be best for you.
Thank you for your question! The description of your lips is typical for someone three days post treatment. Bruising and swelling can take up to two weeks to resolve. Your lips will soften over this time period too. Gentle massage of the area may help. If after two weeks you still have conc...
I recommend fillers to soften the nasolabial folds themselves and also lift around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine Sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, skin tightening treatments such as Thermage, Fractora, and Renuvion...
Swelling and/or lumps can be typical. Icing, firm massage and cold compresses may give improvement. I would wait a full 2 weeks before judging the results. If it is after the two week wait, you can have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase. I hope this helps!
