Hi, do you mean can you get treatment over a fresh tattoo, or can you get a tattoo after a fat freezing treatment?Either way, it would be best to separate treatment and a new tattoo by a few months. Regards, Dr Steve Merten, Sydney
CoolSculpting should not be used on wounds or on skin that is still healing. It could be painful and also interfere with the healing process. Tattoos usually take at least 2 months to fully heal. After that time, CoolSculpting is perfectly safe and should be comfortable, too. Please find a board-certified dermatologist to administer your body-contouring treatment with CoolSculpting, followed by a session of Zimmer Z-wave to remove another 10% of fat.
Thank you for your question! A fresh healing tattoo is still an open wound and very sensitive. I would recommend waiting at least 2 months until the tattoo is completely healed to have a CoolSculpting treatment done.
I would recommend waiting until your tattoo has healed before having the area treated with CoolSculpting. While it is possible that the CoolSculpting would not affect your tattoo, it is probably safer to just wait until the skin has healed before introducing another form of treatment that will affect the tissue.
Hello! Thank you for your question. CoolSculpting is not recommended if you have any injuries to your skin like cuts or scrapes. Since receiving a tattoo will break the skin, it would be included in this category. You will need to wait a month or two after getting your tattoo to ensure that the skin has fully healed, which will keep you safe and comfortable during your CoolSculpting procedure. Waiting until you are healed will also ensure that your new tattoo is not harmed by the procedure. I hope this helps!
Hi, thanks for your question. You’ll want to wait until your tattoo has completely healed and there is no possibility of open skin before getting CoolSculpting®. This could take at least two months, depending on how fresh your tattoo is. If you’re eager to plan your treatment right now, you could schedule your consultation with an experienced provider to get a better idea of what your timeline might look like.
It is not recommended to treat an area with open wounds. A new tattoo needs time to properly heal before CoolSculpting can be done. I would suggest to wait before undergoing this procedure.
If you have a new or healing tattoo, or any healing wound, in the area you want Coolsculpting , it is not wise to treat that area until everything is completely healed. (No longer scanning, flaking, pink, swollen or irritated in any way)
Hi, I would recommend waiting as I wouldn't treat of healing skin. I just don't Imagine It would feel good and would suggest waiting a week or 2 post tattoo fully being healed.Hope that helps!
Hi aayi,CoolSculpting is contraindicated in cases where there is any break in the skin and this includes tattoos. Even if it has freshly healed, it will be tender and the cold feeling becomes very uncomfortable. The tattoo is not really considered superficial and I would suggest waiting for a month or two before having CoolSculpting. All the best,Justin Harper,M.D.
Hello. After your tummy tuck + lipo procedure, I would wait until you see your full results before deciding whether or not you might need CoolSculpting®. In most instances, liposuction should be enough to achieve the slimmer body shape you’re looking for. As for epilepsy, while it is not...
Thank you for your question. The affected area depends on the applicator being used. Some of the applicators use suction and the fat that is suctioned is the affected area. Others are flat panels and the affected area is where the applicator lies. You should go in for a consultation with a...
Thank you for the question. This is curious and could be something concerning. Swollen lymph nodes are more commonly caused by infection and inflammation. Most serious causes like tumors or cancer can also cause swollen lymph nodes. This certainly requires further...
