Hello I have a tummy tuck and lipo scheduled for January. How long do I need to wait to cool sculpt the same area ? Also , is it contraindicated for epilepsy ? Thank you in advance.

Answer: Coolsculpt after tummy tuck If your surgery is scheduled for January, you may not need coolsculpting at all. Especially since you are planning on having liposuction with your abdominoplasty. You should speak with your plastic surgeon but I would wait 6 months after surgery, this will allow the swelling to go away entirely and truly assess if and where coolsculpting would help. As for epilepsy, there is no contraindication

Answer: You may not need CoolSculpting® after a tummy tuck and liposuction. Hello. After your tummy tuck + lipo procedure, I would wait until you see your full results before deciding whether or not you might need CoolSculpting®. In most instances, liposuction should be enough to achieve the slimmer body shape you’re looking for. As for epilepsy, while it is not a contraindication to CoolSculpting, you might still want to check with your doctor first just to be sure. Hope this helps!
