I have never seen nor have I heard of swollen nodes after coolsculpting treatments. I would recommend you going in to be evaluated by your physician
This isn't typical. This is unlikely, but needs an in-person evaluation. I recommend following up with your practitioner. You may have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. Lymphatic massage and hyperbaric oxygen along with your compression can help reduce any swelling. Keep in mind, for best results with Coolsculpting, a combination approach is needed. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. However, a Vaser with ThermiRF procedure is the best combination for a toned result, but requires more downtime. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
I have never had a patient develop swollen lymph nodes during or after a CoolSculpting procedure. What area of your body was treated and where are the swollen lymph nodes that you have?
Hello, and thank you for your post! CoolSculpting does not usually cause lymph nodes to swell, even if you received your CoolSculpting treatment in the same area as your swollen nodes. If you are experiencing swollen lymph nodes, you should contact your plastic surgeon or general physician and schedule an appointment for an in-person evaluation. They are not necessarily a sign of anything serious; however, it would be best to have them looked at. Swollen or tender lymph nodes usually indicate an infection or other illness, so even if they are not related to your CoolSculpting, you may want to visit a physician. Best of luck!
No, CS does not cause swollen lymph nodes. Normally swollen lymph nodes indicate infection or illness or even something more severe. If your lymph nodes are swollen then you need to seek medical help.
Lymph nodes do not typically get swollen during Coolsculpting. Post treatment you can wear compression garments and do lymphatic massage to help in lymphatic drainage. Also, consider taking an anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen. swelling and discomfort in the area treated can last on average 1-4 weeks. If you have concerns it is always a good idea to follow up with your provider. Hope this helps.
Thank you for the question. This is curious and could be something concerning. Swollen lymph nodes are more commonly caused by infection and inflammation. Most serious causes like tumors or cancer can also cause swollen lymph nodes. This certainly requires further evaluation by your physician. CoolSculpting is not known to cause lymphadenopathy, or swelling of lymph nodes, and certainly not during a treatment. Lymph nodes noted during a treatment came from something else that occurred beforehand. And honestly, without knowing the details of your treatment, it is very difficult to attempt to correlate your lymph nodes with your CoolSculpting. In general lymph nodes become swollen based on anatomical areas of lymph drainage. For example, infection or inflammation in the arm can cause swollen lymph odes in the axial or armpit. Infection or inflammation of the lungs or abdomen can cause swollen lymph nodes in the supraclavicular area, that is, just above the collarbone. And the best example is a throat infection that causes swollen lymph nodes on the sides of the neck. Again, please get this checked out by a physician and based on your question, I do not suspect this is related to CoolSculpting.
Coolsculpting does not cause your lymph nodes to swell, typically when your lymph nodes are swollen this is a sign of infection. I would suggest going to see your doctor. Best of luck!!!
Sorry to hear you’re having a hard time after your CoolSculpting® treatment. It is unlikely that the CoolSculpting itself is the cause of your fever, but it’s always best to check in with your doctor to make sure there aren’t any underlying complications that need to be addressed. You might ...
Hi, I've never seen something that large after the procedure, but it's great that it's going down. More than likely it sounds like a hematoma. I would worry about any change in your voice or difficulty/pain with swallowing or fever. Make sure your provider checks it out...
Hi doraines, CoolSculpting has produced good results. You are at your ideal body weight and only have pockets of fat. Infared has not produced outstanding results. CoolScultpting complements your healthy lifestyle. All the best, Justin Harper, M.D.
