Ever since I was 12 years old I've noticed my breast size to be asymmetrical. Every doctor I've even been to has told me that it is completely normal and I shouldn't worry about it because it will even out by the time I'm 18. I am now 18 and the difference in my breasts is huge.
Answer: My breasts are drastically uneven is it normal? It is normal to have some asymmetry between the breast. In your case the asymmetry is very pronounced. The symmetry could be improved by performing a left breast reduction or a combination of left breast reduction and right breast augmentation. #StayBeautiful @RealDrWorldWide

Answer: Breast asymmetry Hello and thank you for your question. The best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. You do have significant breast asymmetry. This can be improved with surgery. You are a candidate for a breast reduction/lift of your left breast and an implant for your right breast, depending on what your goals are. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. Harvard-trained plastic surgeon

Answer: Breast asymmetry Thanks for your question and the photo. Basically, everyone has some degree of breast asymmetry. Your shape and size difference makes you a good candidate for surgery. My guess is that reducing the larger side would help even things out, but placing a small implant on the opposite side might also be done at the same time. Find a Board certified Plastic Surgeon in your area to help you. Best of Luck!

Answer: Breast Asymmetry Most women have different breast sizes and shapes. But in your case, the differences are quite significant. It is true that the breasts can develop up to the age of 21, but I don't think your breasts will even out over the next three years. Most plastic surgeons have dealt with women with your issues, so I would recommend finding an experienced Board Certified Plastic Surgeon close to you. Look at before and after photos and develop a game plan. I think you have several options. You could consider a left breast reduction and lift. You might also consider an implant on the right side to get better symmetry. I think it would be safe to consider doing something at the age of 21. By that age, your breasts should have stopped growing. However, I wouldn't blame you for wanting to be evaluated now. If you do a corrective procedure at the age of 18, you must consider that your breasts can continue to grow to the age of 21. The risk is you might have to do a revisional surgery in the future. Good Luck and find an experienced Plastic Surgeon you are comfortable with. There is no harm at developing a relationship and developing a game plan now.

Answer: Uneven breasts Plastic Surgeons frequently are asked this question, so you've come to the right place. Based on your pictures, I think that you will need to have surgery to get more even so that bras and bathing suits aren't such a problem. I agree with seeing a PS and getting a consult so that you can begin learning about your options. Some have scars and some do not. Learn everything you can beforehand to be well informed!
