You do not have symmastia. However, your implants are very close together and the nipple-areola complexes are pointing outward. You would benefit from smaller implants and revision of the nipple-areola complexes.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
Good afternoon,Unfortunately your surgeon overdissected your pockets and gave you synmastia- you don't just have close cleavage- you have true synmastia. The thong bra isn't going to do you any good- you need a surgical repair. I correct synmastia with the Original Internal Bra, my strong permanent internal suturing technique- I first developed this technique over 20 years ago and today it is the most common revision I perform, at least 5-6 times a week- it works and it lasts!
Dear MaritheSV,I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Dear librabby, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing,...
