I have a sliding genioplasty scheduled in 2 weeks. I am 27F and have wanted to improve my profile and jawline for quite a while. I have a very mild overjet, mildly recessed jaws, no breathing issues but family history of obstructive sleep apnea. I am now second-guessing if I should be pursuing DJS instead. However, it seems that insurance would not cover DJS in my case so it may not be affordable. Will sliding genio offer an improvement for me?
