In the profile picture your chin projection is good but it appears that your chin is short. You are correct in that there would be benefit of chin augmentation for you but there is one very important aspect of that for you that should not be overlooked. Your chin deficiency is as much, if not more, vertically deficient as it is horizontally deficient. Vertical chin deficiencies require unique implant designs or bony genioplasties to provide an adequate augmentation effect.

Much more information is needed, such as your age, and a full set of facial and neck photographs from all angles to make determination about how best to proceed. Most likely you have fat deposits located underneath the platysma muscle which is known as sub-platysma fat. That fat has to be surgically extracted with the necklift procedure which also includes a platysma-plasty. If there's a recessive chin present, then a chin implant can be added through the same incision underneath the chin to augment the chin forward when it is recessive.
