Want to improve side profile - am I a candidate for a chin implant? (photos)

I previously had sub mental liposuction done. Unfortunately, it did little to help my side profile, something I am extremely self conscious about. Would a chin implant make sense?

A chin implant, along with dermal fillers or facial fat transfer, can enhance your natural bone structure, giving you a much more structured, streamlined, and masculine look. Injectables are very effective in contouring the jawline and creating a sharper profile, strengthening the chin, and reducing the appearance of jowls. I recommend only seeking treatments from reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeons, particularly those with extensive experience with chin augmentation techniques. Your surgeon will do a proper evaluation, recommend the best treatment or combination of treatments, use digital photography to show projected results, and ensure the best possible outcome.

In the profile picture your chin projection is good but it appears that your chin is short. I would recommend that facial balance would improve with a sliding genioplasty to lengthen your chin. the surgery is done in the office with sedation and takes about an hour. You are correct in that there would be benefit of chin augmentation for you but there is one very important aspect of that for you that should not be overlooked. Your chin deficiency is as much, if not more, vertically deficient as it is horizontally deficient. Vertical chin deficiencies require unique implant designs or bony genioplasties to provide an adequate augmentation effect.

Much more information is needed, such as your age, and a full set of facial and neck photographs from all angles to make determination about how best to proceed. Most likely you have fat deposits located underneath the platysma muscle which is known as sub-platysma fat. That  fat has to be surgically extracted with the necklift procedure which also includes a platysma-plasty. If there's a recessive chin present, then a  chin implant can be added through the same incision underneath the chin to augment the chin forward when it is recessive.
