A examination with additional photos is needed to give you advice. You have to be clear on your goals and express them to the surgeon.

To begin with, that is an unflattering pose for pretty much anyone. You have changed the direction in which gravity is pulling down, even though that is not how you would normally look. That aside, you do have a bit of a recessed chin, which could be augmented with a genioplasty. This would lengthen your jawline, add prominence to your chin and help to balance your profile. A genioplasty would tighten the skin under your chin as well. I would suggest doing some research about it!

1) Skincare with products and microneedling/PRP
2) PDT Light Therapy a few times per month with growth factors
3) Laser treatments like Clear + Brilliant regularly and others (Fraxel, Moxi, Viva, CO2, Erbium, Halo) a few times per year
4) Sculptra injections a few times per year for collagen production with fillers like Juvederm, Restylane, Belotero, Radiesse, and/or Bellafill
5) Thermage/Ultherapy for yearly skin tightening with or without PDO or cone-based Instalift threads for lifting
6) Botox every 2 to 3 months to stop movement lines and prevent lines at rest

From the one limited side profile photograph, there does appear to be at recessive chin profile present for which a chin implant can improve. In our practice, placement of a chin implant is performed through a small submental incision under local anesthesia as an outpatient procedure which takes approximately 30 minutes.

I think the question you are asking is whether chin augmentation would be beneficial to improve the balance of your facial features. By this one picture that appears likely. Computer imaging is needed to determine the amount of chin augmentation that looks best to you and then the decision is whether to do so by chin implant or a sliding genioplasty.

The one image is not enough for an evaluation but you do have a smaller lower jaw and you may benefit from either a genioplasty or a more complete correction of the lower jaw
