Hi! I had gynecomastia surgery 6yrs ago and immediately had some divots and uneven contouring. Over time, I have worked my chest out and this has become more pronounced + I have realized it won't go away on its own. I have two questions: 1. What would have caused this? 2. What can be done to correct it? Thank you!

Thank you for your question. Basically your Nipple areola is attached to tissue below your skin and there is crater deformity to some extent. It is a common complication after gynecomastia surgery. Revision surgery can be done to treat your problem. Multiple option might be possible. Through small incision ,the attachment can be released and fat graft can be done. Or tissue around can be mobilized to obliterate the crater deformity.
